On this page, you can buy a collectible models of Formula 1 - "Ferrari F2012 #5". The car piloted in the 2012 season by one of the most successful contemporary drivers, the Spanish Fernando Alonso.

The highly detailed miniature car is made of durable, high-quality, non-toxic plastic with metallic elements and is placed on a podium. The tires are made of soft rubber and freely rotate around their axis. If desired, the models can be detached from the podium with a regular screwdriver. An excellent gift for a Formula 1 and Ferrari fan.

The F2012 is a Formula-class racing car developed by the Italian racing team "Scuderia Ferrari" for the Formula 1 season in 2012. The car was unveiled on February 3 at the Ferrari factory in Maranello. The car made its debut during the first pre-season tests in Jerez, with Fernando Alonso and his teammate Felipe Massa behind the wheel.

Throughout the 2012 season, insiders reported that Ferrari had developed a "variable ride height" suspension system. This mechanical device, similar to those used on legendary BRABHAM BT49C and Williams FW15C cars, was designed for automatically adjusting the ride height depending on the maneuver being performed. Ferrari hoped to use this device in their 2012 car.

However, the FIA once again ruled that such expensive devices contradicted the rules as they significantly improved the aerodynamic efficiency of the car, leading to the prohibition of the device.

Like most cars created in accordance with the technical regulations of the 2012 season, the F2012 had an ungainly "step nose" - an innovation related to increased safety requirements.

The F2012 featured a front suspension with pushrods ("pullrod") not visible in Formula 1 since 2001, during the times of the Minardi PS01 and Arrows A22 cars. The pushrods of the rear suspension were also positioned externally ("pullrod rear suspension"). L-shaped air vents were also placed on the side panels, similar to the Ferrari F10 in 2010.

At the end of the 2012 season, Alonso secured the second place in the championship standings, becoming the vice-champion.
